The One Secret to Your Success?!

Spread the love

In my opinion, we should do all things with love. This means everything we do should be done with the intention of helping others. The only way I know to best do that is to love ourselves first. I believe this should be our main focus when trying to define success.

Success can not be defined in one sentence, but is instead comprised of many things. We can define success as a combination of achieving goals, having joy and happiness, achieving how successful people think, and considering others. For some people, success is about having luxurious cars or a huge mansion. For others, success is about having a family that loves and supports them. Some might define success by setting achievable goals and working hard to reach them despite their circumstances.

Define

Success means different things to different people, and everyone has their own definition of what it means to be successful. Success is driven by our own happiness. Therefore, it doesn’t matter what other people see as success. We measure success in terms of happiness, health, wealth, and money but at the end of the day purpose should be your number one focus. If you can find a purpose in life that has a worthwhile impact then you will receive exponential returns. It may not always be easy to find. But when you do, it will be the best thing in your life.

One thing is for sure, there is no single specific personality trait that can guarantee success. Many successful people have cool stories to tell about how they achieved big things in life. The secret to success is not a one-size-fits-all answer; there is no single path or formula. However, the common thread that ties all of these stories together is that these individuals faced failure and kept working hard and learning from their experiences.

In the end, only you can define your own success and decide whether it’s worth pursuing or not. Part of that is probably understanding the difference between your own desires and preferences and those pressures onto you. Either by family, parents, siblings, friends, community, etc.

Sometimes, you can be doing your thing and feel satisfied and happy, and you can consider your life successful. But people around you, may assume you’re confused or lost. And they may decide to chip in with their opinion and judgment. They might feel it’s their duty to set you straight and tell you what you need to be doing.

Align

Personally, unless they actually understand your ideas and what you’re doing, I feel that could be annoying. Because most of the people around us even though they love us and want to support us in their own way. Ironically, some genuinely believe they are helping you. They genuinely believe they are being supportive.

Now if this is repetitive and each time you have to deal with the consequences, it’s a good idea to confront the situation and explain your position. Be grateful for their help but explicitly let them know it is not needed at this time. Diplomacy is a great skill to have in such situations.

If they really want to help, you can ask them to do something that would actually be beneficial to your cause. Sometimes people will understand and sometimes not. These situations could result in losing a loved one. Because we definitely need to set up our boundaries. But this is a decision you have to make for yourself. Your peace of mind is important, if you want to have clarity and pursue your vision. Loving yourself should always come first. Otherwise, you will end up bitter and resentful.

In other situations, people will try to put you down and devalue your results. Such actions might be motivated by jealousy and ego. Other times it comes from the illusion of self importance when it comes to defining their own life purpose. Whichever the case, it is up to you to either align with your surroundings or choose a surrounding that aligns with you.

Transition (success)

In my honest opinion, I believe the one secret to success is to be you! Unfortunately, despite how obvious this is, the idea is still not pretty clear. But I believe you are successful, when you choose yourself and commit to yourself and your own purpose. And by avoiding and ignoring the noise and comments from all around you. Basically not to allow any external views to put out your flame. Ignite brighter, walk stronger and keep doing what you need to do.

Hope this was helpful, let me know what you think in the comments.
